With the help of volunteers, the A Brush with Kindness program partners with low-income homeowners to restore their homes so they can continue to live in a safe, decent and affordable home. This program not only helps families and communities in need, but it helps create neighborhood stability and preserves the home values in Mason County. A Brush with Kindness includes exterior painting, building ramps, roof and other minor repairs. A Brush with Kindness is a partnership that relies on the Homeowner’s participation, as well as the help of volunteers. Home repairs are led by trained crew leaders and completed by Habitat for Humanity volunteers.
