Building A New Beginning! Mason Habitat Begins House #25
Habitat for Humanity of Mason County (HfHMC) is preparing for the construction of House #25. Groundbreaking is scheduled to begin the first quarter of 2016. Habitat seeks new and experienced construction volunteers for this effort and they are particularly interested in applications from business, church, family or otherwise affiliated volunteers for Team Build Days!
“Learn new skills or share your mastery by volunteering with Habitat,” said Marty Crow, Executive Director. “Get your Volunteer Application in early. Volunteer Orientation sessions will be entertaining and accommodating – attend one at the Shelton Store, or arrange for a session at your business, church or civic group.”
The 2016 Volunteer Application can be picked up at either the Belfair or the Shelton Habitat stores which are open Tuesdays through Saturdays, 10:00 to 5:30. Alternatively, apply on the website or contact Kathleen, Volunteer Coordinator, at kathleenh@habitatmasonwa.org or call 360-426-8134 extension 204. If you are a former or current volunteer with HfHMC and are interested in this recruiting effort, please call. Construction volunteers must be at least 16 to work on the construction site.
