Habitat Home #25 – Come Bless this Venture! August 28th, 2:00 p.m.

Shelton, WA, (August 19, 2016) – Habitat for Humanity of Mason County welcomes the public, volunteers, family and friends (even and especially little ones) to a Blessing Ceremony for Habitat Home #25. The on-site Ceremony will be at 2:00 on Sunday, August 28th at 2137 Washington Street in Shelton.
During the Blessing Ceremony, guests are invited to write a special message or prayer on the studs throughout the home, now near its final phase of construction. Future homeowner Britni Twidwell and her two boys will be on hand. Young sons Jeremiah and Trevor will be encouraged leave their hand prints on the inside of what will soon be their bedroom walls!
Marty Crow, Executive Director and COO of Habitat for Humanity of Mason County is enthused. “With the tremendous support of our community and the hard work of our volunteers, the opportunity of home ownership will soon become a reality for another Habitat family. We have enjoyed the support of several teams coming together on our jobsite to help build our community, learn a few construction skills, have fun and walk away knowing their contribution of a few hours will help provide a lifetime of opportunity.”
Come to the Blessing and leave your special message or handprint as a show of support!
