Belfair Habitat Hosts Upcycled! Block Party!!
Belfair, WA, (September 23, 2017)—Habitat for Humanity of Mason County brought our Upcycled! Block Party to Belfair! This family-friendly event was hosted in the
parking lot of our Belfair Habitat Store. We had live music, raffles, activities for kids, food, and tons of information on how to upcycle.
Upcycling is when you take something old and use it to make something completely different and new. It’s a great way to learn how to reuse resources. Demonstrations were held throughout the day. Raffle tickets were sold and a lucky family won for a newly constructed garden shed! At the party, we also had a host of other fun raffle prizes! We also had a great selection local non-profits, vendors and area agencies running booths. The party was a blast and everyone had a wonderful time!
