Dedication Ceremony for House #25!

Shelton, WA, (January 22, 2017) –Habitat for Humanity of Mason County held the Dedication Ceremony for House #25. The new home of Britni Twidwell and family is located at 2137 Washington Street in Shelton.

As construction of a Habitat House is completed, we celebrate with community partners, volunteers, family and friends. The Dedication Ceremony features an exchange of the keys to the home for the first payment on a 30 year, no interest loan. These affordable payments help further Habitat’s mission for future families as well.

Habitat’s Executive Director, Marty Crow is encouraged by the successes Habitat experienced in 2016: “House #25 is nearly complete with a dedication scheduled in January, House #26 will be completed and the Dedication will be held in February. We are working hard to accelerate our Home Preservation mission to help Mason County home owners in need remain in their homes. I am very optimistic about the opportunity that the new year brings for Habitat for Humanity of Mason County. With the support of our community through donation, patronage and volunteering at both of our retail stores in Shelton and Belfair we will be able to build House #27 and hopefully start House #28 in 2017. I look forward to your continued support of our mission and as always would ask that you consider partnering with us through donations to our stores and volunteering to help build and maintain affordable housing for those in need here in Mason County”.
