Groundbreaking for House #29

Habitat for Humanity of Mason County is building House #29 in the City of Shelton. The Groundbreaking Ceremony was Thursday, October 11th, 3:30 p.m. at 2426 Washington Street. Habitat’s Board of Directors and Executive Director Marty Crow are excited to continue to build in the city of Shelton.
Marty Crow Executive Director said, "We are excited to build here in Shelton and to help bring the opportunity of home ownership to a family in need. Habitat is about building community and House #29 will be built by our community."
House #29 will be built for Brian and Mistelle Huskey and their two children. The Huskey family and friends have been very helpful with volunteering. The family will work throughout the building process to complete the 400 hours of sweat equity. Sweat equity is one requirement for acquiring a Habitat Home.
