Habitat House #31 Groundbreaking Ceremony

Shelton, WA, (July 11th, 2019)-Habitat for Humanity of Mason County is building House #31 in the City of Shelton. There was a great turnout for the Groundbreaking Ceremony at 10:00 AM on Thursday, July 11th at 301 Grandview.

House #31 will be built for Cassie Tibbitts and her three children. The Tibbitts family and friends have been very helpful with volunteering. The family will work throughout the building process to complete the 400 hours of sweat equity. Sweat equity is one requirement for acquiring a Habitat Home.

Marty Crow Executive Director said, "We are excited to build here in Shelton and to help bring the opportunity of home ownership to a family in need. Habitat is about building community and House #31 will be built by our community."
