3rd Annual Belfair Upcycled Block Party!

Belfair, WA, (September 7, 2019)—Habitat for Humanity of Mason County’s 3rd annual Upcycled! Block Party had a great turnout! This family-friendly event was hosted in the parking lot of our Belfair Habitat Store. We had live music, raffles, activities for kids, food, and tons of information on how to upcycle.

Upcycling is when you take something old and use it to make something completely different and new. It’s a great way to learn how to reuse resources. Demonstrations were held throughout the day. Raffle tickets were sold and a lucky families won a picnic table, a fire pit and 2 Adirondack chairs! We also had great upcycled vendors with booths. The party was a blast and everyone had a wonderful time!

We at Habitat for Humanity of Mason County would like to thank all the wonderful businesses and vendors in Mason County for donating great items for our silent auction! A big thank you also goes out to Scotty Mills, Dan Washburn, TJ and Marlene Maki for donating their time to play music for all who attended the event! Thank you all for helping further our mission of helping families in need in Mason County!
